Allroad 2.5 tdi 2000 year. HELP. The parkings sensors are not working! They omit a 5 second bleep when you select reverse. The manual say it does when there is a fault... but that does not help me! I have just bought it... last people towed with it, could they have disconnected it.. if so how and where? Thoughts? How do I investigate, how does it work?

 

haaaa ha ha ha never needed this toy seen many reverse into cars and try to blame it on the toy "not insured" worthless but just a toy like sat nav (they make too many errors)

 

in boot behing panel where cd changer and car jack are located look down side of panel towards front of car and there should be silver box about 3x4 inches. check to see if there are 2 sets of cables plugged into it if not find them plug em and problem solved! I only found out where it is coz i wanna put switch in to stop sensors when I'm towing
