hey guys, im looking into buying a performance chip for my 2002 audi a6 3.0. any suggestions on which one would be my best buy?

 

You're not going to get any significant performance gains by chipping a normally aspirated engine. You can buy them though. GIAC, APR, PES, UPsolute, etc. You're looking at $300-500 for around +10hp/tq.

When I received the email with that response, I had to go to this thread to see what provoked it. Nothing but the truth. dchrons204 -- you asked for advice and received it. Why the attack? Or did some paranoid psycho steal your user account?

 

I don't get it... What did "Kevin" do? He is telling you that a chip/flash won't give you anything noticeable. And I agree with him completely. Read my sig... Been there and done that. Although it was with a 2.8, but no difference...
