Hey fellas,

I noticed that my passenger side door of my 98 Audi A6 won't lock. When my friend and I hooked up the VAG-Com to it it gave us an error code reading "passenger door can't lock". Basically when i use the keyless remote and hit the lock button all the doors lock except that one.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

No experience with this one, but I'd inspect the latching mechanism. Is it loose? Is there some obstruction? etc...

 

Are there seperate fuses for each door lock? Could it be possible that a fuse is blown? It's my wife's car so I haven't checked it in a while, but it's getting annoying.

 

I can't imagine there would be separate fuses. I'd either take a shot at cracking open the door to see what's going on in there (maybe a mechanism failure) or bring it to an independent garage that specializes in Audis.
