pics and info on lowered a6's
Ok so my last post wasn't too informative. ... so i was curious if some people who have their a6's lowered could post pics and what they are using suspension wise, and pros and cons to their set up. I have been curious on this for a long time, hopefully this can shed some light, thx

not sure what your looking for but I have found eibach lowering springs bilstein lowering struts, there is also an H&R set of coilovers which are adjustable....
if you are only lowering the car like an inch you dont have much to worry about, unless you have a kit. Take it easy and your aight

I do know what is out there, but i was looking for reactions to peoples individual set ups. I am almost set on the Eibach Pro system, but i would like to hear other reviews from people..

I've done a coupleof different setups over the last couple of years. I had a 2001 A6 2.7T non-sport. I originally loweerd it with a Bilstein Sport/H&R Sport setup, which to me was a bit too hrash and low, especially in the rear of the car. The shocks actually bottomed out if I went over a dip in the road at speed.
Here is a pic of the car with the Bilstein/H&R setup. Notice how the rear of the car looks like I am dragging around a dead body?
I then went to H&R coilovers, which were a bit more expensive, but they are adjustable, so I could dial in the ride height I wanted.
Here is a pic of the same car (different wheels) with the coilovers:

I just had the Eibach Pro springs and ST performance shocks/struts put in my car, I like the way it rides we'll see how it does on the track on may 5th. they dropped the front 2", which was a bit more than they advertised them as doing, the back is exactly the same height as stock, so I still have a good size gap over the rear tires but at least the front is no longer higher than the rear. I guess I can always shim the front up a bit later if I need to, I hope the rear settles a bit. Does anyone running the Eibach pro springs have any experience with settling over time?
