Default is it possible to add seat heaters

ive been looking to get a new used a6, but so far the nicest/best priced one ive found has no seat heaters which is something i was wanting. is it possible to add it or is it more trouble than its worth?

Nah, but for real, your better off sourcing them out of the classifieds or a salvage yard. I recently sold a full set (front and rears) for $150.

There out there. Wiring them up is a different story. Not sure if the connector is factory installed. Meaning that there might be the connector for power under the seats already. Mount a switch and your all set. It's a project. But definitely possible

If you have to ask don't bother.

You can find the seats at shokan.com you can also ask them for a climate control unit with the switches as for the harness if it's not there you will need to get that from the dealer. But by then you would have spend more money than the car is worth and believe me you have other things you will need to do.

BUY ONE WITH HEATED SEATS- BEST BET
