Possible New Owner 2001 A6 -117,000 miles
Ok - car runs great - looks sharp - one tiny scratch an inch long on the right rear fender (that's it!) - silver 4 dr - great Carfax - fully loaded. My concern is the mileage 117,000. This car was a lease car from Florida and now I drive by it every day and have taken it for a wild ride myself. I like sport bikes and fast cars - as a female - I need help regarding this Audi. I'm ready! Help me!

You did not mention engine option, tranny or drivetrain. 117K miles is nothing for these Audis if all the needed maintenance are done. If the price is right they will last a long time with plenty of mods to come.

I'm sure you can find an audi a6 with less miles. how much are you willing to spend? i found an audi a6 2.7 biturbo 6 speed manul for 15,000. what kind of tranny are you interested in?

Car is perfect.. everthing checks out - this car has all the maint. records including oil change history - every 3k miles. Lease requirement. My gut says GO FOR IT!! However - I don't know the engine opt. I will ask about that tomorrow on my next drive by wanting..

It means the car has a tiptronic automatic transmission.
They all wanna know the number on the back (if it was not debadged)
For instance, mine is a 2.8
It could be a 3.0, a 4.2, or a 2.7T
2.8 is a really stout engine and with normal wear and tear repairs will last forever. Mine has over 170K and I have probably put 3000 (if it was done professionally *which it wasnt) in total big maintenance. Trans flush, timing belt, front cv boots
2.7T is a funner car but will need a little more love esp. if someone was rough with it.
4.2's and 3.0's are good engines but I know very little.
At 9000 dollars, it is probably a 2.8 or a 3.0. The 2.7s and 4.2s are more money.
You should just be really complete with checking it out. CV Boots, oil leaks, all electronics, braking make sure it is legit.

2.8 and I have the certified 30 point(s) check list on my desk at the office. Everything from the rear to the front checkout and full maint. ready to sell... Carfax - stated- never in an accident and the lease company provided all driver's with tracking devices? I assume for insurance purposes for them...?
