ok so if you havent seen it on lltek's website here is a a6 to rs6 front end mod which looks pretty sweet.

unfortunatley those of us with prefacelift a6's the kit isnt available to us. now what im wondering is, is if i got my hands on a facelift style hood will the hood fit on my car thus making the kit fit on my car? i dont know how much of the front end of the two styles of cars are different but could it work? what do you guys think. if so id me more content with keeping my car for a while longer instead of selling and buying a facelift style a6

 

That looks like crap... the nose sticks out about 2" too far past the headlights. I don't see why they didn't just shorted the bumper mounts and shift the support in a bit to make it more flush.

 

im not asking for opinions on what people think this kit looks like, im asking if a facelift hood has the same dimensions/will fit on a prefacelift car. and also if the bumpers fit/mount the same

 

I think there was one or two guys here (or maybe over at audiworld) that got this done. Hey, and worst case, just call them! They are there to answer these questions and they actually know the answers opposed to most of us.

edit:What??? That has nothing to do with the RS6, it has to do with the newer model facelift.

and it's supposed to somehow resemble this - it looks like they put the two together, blah:

 

The hood creases are different (prefacelift are angled) and the preface headlights won't work. The bumper should work, but looks like they do some stuff to the support.

Also it's fiberglass, so in addition to looking like crap, it won't fit out of the box and you'll lose it first time you clip something...
