Default Problem - ABS Module Master

Sup guys.
2 weeks ago, I got my Vag-com and scanned my system.
and I got a error code of 18014 (P1606) so that's relating to a ABS ECU not working.
Also I been having the stupid beeps and ABS and brake lights.

So I sent my ABS module to Module Master (http://www.modulemaster.com/audiabsrepair.html) 2 weeks ago using UPS 2nd day. And I recieved it back from them indicating it's fixed 2 days ago (friday)
I was so excited. I put everything back, the 2 connectors to the ABS ECU. screw all 6 bolts back tight.
Start up the car yesterday night, BEEP BEEP BEEP with ABS light on and brake light blinking still... DAMN!
I stop the car, unplug the battery Negative over night and hope it will reset the code and today, I put the battery back and start it up again, hoping for the best... and DAMN AGAIN. 3 beeps with ABS light on and brake light blinking....

SO PLEASE guys, tell me, what's wrong?
I use the VAGCOM again, but pull no code. maybe not yet? maybe has to wait 50 or 100miles or some driving before it triggers an error code?

Someone, help me guys.. that beeping and blinking is annoying as well. and I just wasted $360 shipped and it didn't solve the problem at all.

Any help or input will be greatly appreciated.
Gilbert

if abs fault the abs light will come on but not for warped discs which can be felt by the peddle at low speed "10mph", abs pulses the peddle harshly

Sup guys.
The ABS light is on forever when I start the car/engine till I turn off the car/engine.
And the Brake like will Blinke forever whenever I started the car/engine and turn off the engine.

I checked the brake fluid on day one, and I checked again yesterday, and it's right on MAX.
So you saying the brake pad is very low that cause the ABS light to be on? shouldn't that be the brake light alone?

Thanks guys!

Default RE: Problem - ABS Module Master

I just talked to Gavin from Modulemaster.com
and it seems like I don't EVEN have communitions with my ABS ECU.
I am using my Vag-com cable, and use it to read the faulty code.
I can read the Engine module, and Transmission module. but when I click on ABS brake module, it will retry to connect for 4 times then say cannot find module.

And I confirmed with Gavin that it's fixed and tested 100% working.
And he said, even if it doesn't work, it should cause the light to go out for a second or so before it comes back on and not working again. but mine is 24/7 on whenever I have my engine started. so he assumes maybe there is NO CONNECTIONS between my ECU and the ABS module.
also I personally have this feeling also, since the VAG-COM cannot reads it.

Does anyone had this problem before?
Can someone give me an idea on WHY this is happening?
Any input will be greatly apprecaited!
Gil

check fuses #7 10 and 13 fascia location, p1606 MEANS rough road signal - circuit malfunction, problem is ABS control module trouble code (s) stored, (can) "control area network" data bus, I don't think VAG.COM cable or software is set up for this and wont be able to read CAN data
