Default problem with fuel delivery

Okay so I was driving around town today and my car started running rough. I pulled into the highschool parking lot and it died and wouldn't start. I left and came back a few hours later and the car started back up with no problems and ran like it always had. When i got home and needed to run to the store it started up and i didn't even make it to the street. I have got a new fuel pump and new fuel filter it doesn't run like it has bad injectors. It almost acts like it has a bad inertia sensor but the audi tech that i talked to said that it doesn't have one so im all out of ideas. Someone please help.
