I have a 2003 audi, tonight i ripped ahead of a few people and a few moments later a warning light that looked like a yellow engine and had check written through it appeared on the dash. I checked the warning lights in the manual. It said that i need to contact someone to get the problem and fix as soon as possible. Something about an MLI or MIL warning??? i am not to familar with cars. Anyone know that happened or could have happened... and if it costs money to fix.... as well it said in the manual that this light will appear just for a brief period of time when i ingage the engine initally. In addition the manual said to drive slow and to avod accelaration untill the problem could be fixed. This is a car with 30 000 k on it. Hardly ever droven just bought form the dealership if two months ago... [:'(]

Thats called a check engine light or MIL (malfunction indicator lamp) you need to get that checked out by the dealer or go to autozone and have the codes pulled.
If you get the codes pulled post them back on the forum and we will tell you what the codes mean.
