Default Purpose of upgrading MMI?

Other than the sound and nav, is there any other purpose to upgrading the MMI? I'm trying to decide whether or not to fork out the 150 to upgrade. The version I have now is 10.6 i think. Thanks!

I upgraded from 7.5 to 33.6. The biggest improvements were in bluetooth connectivity, including sound quality, voice recognition and the synchro between the car and the telephone. Smaller improvements were in audio setting. I had the upgrade done 3 or 4 years ago and still remember the improvements as being significant.

If your 2005 3.2 is a US car you have Bluetooth. It may just be that your MMI software is such a dinosaur that it is having problems communicating with your telephone.

There is no button. You need to have your phone perform a search for bluetooth receptors. The Audi will come up. The Audi password is 1234.

Even though the wave-button came on all 05s, the Voice recognition system was an option.

But it's still what the button is for....

Don't know about US-models, but ALL euro models hav the voice module installed, but it was still an option... In my car i only coded it with VAG-com, and it worked...
