Quality of Replica Wheels???
Hey folks,
I'm looking to buy a set of 18" replica wheels for my brother's A6 3.0 this christmas. I was wondering if anyone here on the forums has had experience with either of these two sites listed below. I want to make sure the wheel is of good quality and the fitment is right. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

No experience with those two companies, but I did buy a set of RS4 replicas from Purems ($700) and have been less than thrilled. They were Chinese made and I have experienced a little flaking of the finish and there appears to be some flexing (manifested by creaking noises) that may be causing the flaking. They're still a damn good looking rim, but I would have tried to find a higher quality product if I had it to do over again.

I bought some 18" R8 reps with tires from OEWheels off of ebay. They seem to be doing there job, its only been about a month though. I also had some reps on my last A4 for over a year until my engine died..they never bent either. And that was with driving in Pittsburgh pot hole central. Now I'm in Cali and the roads are a little bit smoother.

the main thing is they chip very easily and if you curb them forget it. and don't buy them and expect them to last forever. i have 18" RS4 reps and love them to death and luckily despite living in northern california and having a blow out at 80 mph they seem to be doing quite well after two years or so.if you have the money for a good rim buy the good ones and you wont have to worry about them MAYBE being lopsided like i constantly do haha
