you guys are right, this is a collision prone month. so some idiot runs into my on friday. the guy in front of me slammed on his brakes, i slammed on mine and the thug that was driving his tahoe with his gangster 24sruns into me. damaged my bumper, trunk lid and drivers rear lens. i am waiting to hear back from his insurance company. in the mean time i was driving home for work and my check engine light comes on. I ran a vag on it and came up with these results:

Address 01- 3 faults
17978 engine start blocked by immobilizer
18062 please check dtc memory of instrument cluster
18032 MIL request signal active
Address 02
17125 torque converter clutch circuit performance or stuck off
Address 17
01039 coolant temperature sensor (G2) 30-10 open or short to b+ - intermittent
01176 key 07-10 signal to low intermittent
Address 35
01370 alarm triggered by intereior monitoring 35-00
00955 key 1 09-10 adaptation limit surpassed- intermittent

I had ran a VAG on my car about 6 months ago and it came back with no faults. could any of these codes but related to the accident? or could anyone help explain some of these?any advice on this would be extremely helpful and appreciated. thanks

 

What is a VAG? and were can I get one?

 

could anyone tell me if it is ok to drive with these codes being shown?

 

i heard that getting hit in the rear can cause a kink in your exhaust system causing problems. thats all i got

 

there is a long list of codes. cear them the only ones that should come back are the tq code and the coolant temp sender. the rest would most likely be older codes not to be worried about.

as far as driving you should not have an issue. if the coolant temp code comes back update your coolant sender they tend to go bad. the trans fault from the tq can trip a light and may....I say again may have been caused by the crash. this not a great code to have but it is common in the tips and in some cases will just go away.
