Has anyone installed the "Audi S4 RS4 2.7 biturbo silicone turbo hose kit red?" I was wondering if the quality is as stated...

 

I want to install it on my 2002 A6 2.7t.... Is it any good? It should be a direct fit, right????

 

I know the eBay auction is done, and this answer is too late but......

In IMHO I trust only the Samco Sport brand of silicon hoses for any German car. I used to own a VW Corrado G60 and bought both coolant and boost hoses from them and they were the best quality build I had seen from any silicon hose maker. I have seen many Samco Sport hose kits installed and no one has ever complained about the quality..... price is a different story, but you typically get what you paid for..... typically.

 

The stock hoses usually work just fine. After about 30k miles chipped about one in five will develop cracks and cause boost leaks. Real obvious thou.
