Default Removed the yellow from my headlights

Just thought I'd post some pics of my headlight removal this weekend.

It was not as bad as I thought, but I highly recommend 2 people and patience!!

I also wet sanded and polished them. What a difference!

What is the largest size jpeg I can post, I am having problems saying my file is too large!

"F" it folks, its a pain in the f**kin *** to upload.

I could email them to you if you are interested!

Vic,

Thats only the begining! I sent you an email. I have some great pics of the finished product. I can email them to you if you wish.

I had incredible problems uploading the photos. It kept saying my files were too large, even when I tried to reduce the size!

Hey Joeski,

Can you email me the pics and the products you used also to clean up your headlights?

I tried all kinds of stuff on mine with no success. So I broke down and bought new ones, installed them, and am now trying to sell my old ones on eBay as is. I'd really like to sell them cleaned up if possible.

Thanks and it looks great!!

I used 1000 and 2000 grit wet sanding paper. I put about 30 minutes into each light.

I used my porter cable orbital polisher with a swirl mark remover pad along with Meguires Plastic X polish

Incredible results. Hey I got lucky to upload a picture of the finished light. Maybe I can get more!

Well,

Removing the yellow reflector gives the headlight a clean Euro look, plus wet sanding and polishing are great for headlights that have age to them. You can get rid of haziness
and sand blasting from road debris.
