Hello - I'm new to the forum and looking for a recommendation for a local shop to work on my 2004 A6. I'm in the Western burb or Chicago (about 25 mies SW of O'Hare field). I've been having an issue with a burning oil smell for quite a while now and can't put up with it any longer. Dealer is telling me about $3K in repairs including cam sensor seals, timing belt, water pump, valve cover gaskets (basically 65 & 75K mile service plus cam seals). I'm hoping to find a qualified and reputable center who can do the repairs for considerably less. Any leads would be much appreciated.
