Replaced Alternator a year ago....
Hello forum members,
I replaced the Alternator on my 2000 Audi A6 2.8L a little over a year ago and the now the battery light is back on, and is only charging around 11.8 volts.
I was wondering since it was a PITA to replace, if I can just get a way with replacing the VOLTAGE REGULATOR.
Thank You All

It's been my experienc ethat rebuilt alternators last about a year if you are lucky. The solution is to buy one from Audi and be done with it. I like to save money too, but rebuilt alternators are no good unless you are selling soon.
So by changing just the regulator, it fixed your charging issue?
