Replaced battery....now the radio is DEAD?

Replaced battery....now the radio is DEAD?
This one has me a bit confused:
I replaced the battery and air filters today on my '01 4.2. After cleaning up after the job, I jumped in the car to reset the anti-theft on the radio. Much to my surprise, the radio was (is) dead as a door nail.
Pulled the fuse.....it looked fine. Replaced the fuse......still a dead radio.
I've disconnected the battery leads before and didn't run into this problem, so I'm left scratching my head for the time being.
Any ideas?
Aaron

RE: Replaced battery....now the radio is DEAD?
Thanks for the replies, but I think y'all missed the point....
Resetting the code isn't the problem. My radio is DEAD! After removing a battery terminal, what we normally see on the radio display is "SAFE".....my display is blank. Guess I didn't explain it well enough on the first post. I need a live radio in order to enter the 4 digit code.
Just a thought......is there a fuse behind the radio that I don't know about?
TIA

There is a fuse on the back of the headunit. You'll need 4 radio keys to pull it out to get to the fuse. This might be the problem, but I guess you'll find out when you pull it.

Boston Driver:
Thanks for the info. I'll drop by the local car audio place tomorrow and ask them to remove the head unit and check the fuse back there. These guys have been back there before when they docked my Ipod....so it should be a breeze for them.
I've already checked what fuses and connections I could get my hands on, so the rear head unit fuse is my last-ditch effort to easily fix this little problem.
Missing my i-Tunes....

RE: Replaced battery....now the radio is DEAD?
Follow-up for those who are interested....
I went to the car audio place today. They pulled the head unit and found the fuse on the back side. It's a 7.5 amp fuse and it was blown. Replaced fuse, everything came back to life.
My radio is back in business and I'm a happy camper!
Thanks for the help Boston Driver!!!!
