That's ok. Thought I ask just in case you knew the sizes. How long ago did you order from http://www.genuinevwaudiparts.com ? The web page gives me prompt that says "web page coming soon" wonder if the site is still around?

I noticed that too. For some reason their website is having some issues but you can access their website by doing a google search and clicking on one of their sub pages. It will let you in.

I always had good experience with them. I think they are actually a dealer, but sells their parts at wholesale rate to the general.

I did get the web page to work but I was unable to find the o rings on there for my car. Maybe they don't sell them for my year, 1998 A6 Quattro 30v AHA. Looks like a trip to the hardware store for some o rings to get the job done.

Did you have any issues with the transmission cooler lines seating correctly? The top line is good but the bottom does not connect all the way. I dont want the transmission fluid to spill out.

No. Did the o-ring get pinched in anyway? If I remember correctly, it sits in a groove. The metal plat/bracket that the bolt is in should sit flush with the radiator without a gap.

The top o ring get pinched but I used a new one and it sits flush. the bottom one is out a few mm. This weekend I will see if I can get it to fit correctly. Im starting to wonder if the connection on radiator is faulty.

Still didn't get the transmission cooler lines to work yet, but I have a question on the freeze plug. I remembered to move it to the new radiator but forgot the o ring. well the issue is that I think I may have tightened it too tight now I can't get it back out. The allen wrench starts to strip the freeze plug when I try to unscrew it. Any ideas on how to remove it? Or should I just leave it in place now without the o ring?

If it is not leaking, then I would leave it alone.

I did fill it up with distilled water before filling with coolant just in case it leaked. The lower hose was not connected properly and a bunch of water leaked out but I got that fixed. Thanks for your advice. This project has taken me a longer then expected, but I guess that's how cars are.

I finally got the transmission cooler line to connect. It had a small lip on it from me using a screw driver to disconnect it. I used a fine sand paper to sand down the slight lip, then the upper transmission line seated. I filled up the radiator with distilled water to test it once more. The transmission fluid didn't leak, no coolant leaks from the hoses. Ran the car for a few min, there is a small leak from a hole in the new radiator. I got a replacement radiator on its way. Maybe next weekend I can get the car put back together.
