Got the new radiator in and connected. no leaks. Yeah!

I went to top off the transmission fluid, put the car on 4 identical jack stands. But when I removed the filler plug the fluid started coming out. It is possible that the Transmission was a little too full already and it does need more fluid? I don't to remove the plug again and have more leak out. The aft was at the correct temperature and the car was level.

Has anyone see this before?

Thanks

Was your car running and the transmission warmed slightly when you checked the fluid?

The car was warm, but it was not running. I thought the Bentley book said the car needed to be off, is that not the case?

Your car needs to be running and in park when you check the fluid.

I did this tonight and when I removed the fill plug no fluid came out. I put new fluid in until it dripped out. Tighten up the fill plug and it seems to be running well. Thanks a bunch for your help. It was really nice to finish this project.
