Default rpm @ 60mph
I have a 2000 a6 2.7 T with trip trans- how many rpm at 60mph?

Varies due to mods and gearbox. Mine, I would have to say 2300-2500 in sixth gear.

If your doing 5000rpms at 60 mph, you have serious gear issues

lol, i have an older audi and in 5th (my highest gear) going 90-100mph im still only at 4000-4500rpms

ur car should deff. have a tachometer in it...so you should be able to see for urself unless it broke of course, but either way, the only reason you should be up at 5000rpm and going 60 is if u in like 2nd or 3rd gear

like i said i have an older audi and only 5 gears, i think u have what is it 6? so i thought i would just be safe and say 2nd or 3rd lol...btw nice mods wammy lol

Thank you 5spd so right around 60 you can drop it back down to 5-5.5rpms I believe. Nice cold air, chip and common sense
