s6 debris on oil cap

s6 debris on oil cap

Hi, I have a 2000 year S6 and discovered a black 'flaky' build up of debris on the underside of the oil cap - is this normal or is it indicative of a problem now or historically? - Thanks for any comments.

When you say the underside of the oil cap, do you mean actually from the section that covers the engine, or simply from the section surrounding the cap that may get dust accumilated under it?
