I just purchased a 2006 A6. It came loaded with everything except satellite reciever. I know the model number and have been pricing the units. Is this pretty much a plug and play install? Has anyone installed one before?

In 2006 satelite radio came as part of the Technology Package, so it is impossible to have a loaded car with every option and still be missing satelite radio. If the car is lacking the technology package then you would bemissing more than just the satelite radio. Is it possible that you just have to contact the service provider and have the satelite service enabled?
