I'm in the market for a used mid-size luxury sedan and came across a 2012 Audi A6 3.0T Prestige for what I believe is a good price but it has over 120K miles...

I initially wasn't even going to consider this car but I drove it and just fell in love--it drove great and looks really sharp. It certainly doesn't look like a 120K mile car.

I definitely plan to get an prepurchase inspection but wanted to ask if it even worth the time and money to do that. Or should just spend the extra money ($6-9K) for one with lower miles...

I would see driving this for 3-4 years (~12K miles/yr) then trading in or trying to sell.

any advice is appreciated.

 

I dunno---repairs on cars like this can be expensive. My Acura just hit 111 K and I donated it to Make-A-Wish. Good luck...
