I need to replace the drivers side mirror. I went to audi dealer but they couldn't suggest any type of adhesive to afix the new mirror to the housing. What's the easiest way to get the old one off and the new one on?

I also need to replace the round mirror controller that sits at the console as the old one got broke. Does the entire center console by the parking brake need to come out to do this?

 

The mirror snaps in place.. I got a used assembly from Force Five in Concord NH so Ihad something to play with. They could also supply the switch...
