Default Smoked tails on A6

I have a 2002 A6 that I'm looking to smoke out the tail lights on. Has anyone done this to their car?

If someone could write a DIY instruction for this that would be great, or if anyone has any suggestions or advice that'd be awesome too.

Making any lights smoked is a general process (same thing on every make/model) and if you're looking for a diy, just google it. I think that it can look pretty good, especially if you're going for the murdered look. They also sell them if want too.

I suppose they look "cool" on a black car. But why would you reduce your visibility from the rear? That's why German cars have the rear fog light -- for extra protection. Nice look..bad idea.
