I was wondering if anyone has done any modifications to the cupholders on an 03/04 A6? The "in dash" cupholder is way too small to hold a beverage, the center console is nice, if you dont have a 6 spd, and the rear cupholders are the same as the front ones. All the cups I put in there fit, but are so tall that they fall out. Any solutions?

I love that they are too small. It keeps you from putting a beverage in your car. I know I don't want to spill crap in my car. They are big enough for a Starbucks Grande.......thats all I need!

Get the Passat cupholders...they go on the side of the console and hold bigger drinks. The part number should be: 3A1 862 531 01C.

I don't like the fact that anyone can see the beer bottle in the console cupholder. But at least it doesn't fall out.
