What do you mean? Do you have a donut?? As the 50mph speed is for donuts. I have a full size spare, so I can drive at regular speed.

I thought, all Audis came with full size spare.

I also think all Audis since mid-90's come with full size spare tires. Having said that, when I bought my '01 A6 over a year ago, looked in the trunk, sure enough it had the "50mph-donut" spare inside a big wheel hole.
Lucky I tested this "spare" in my driveway, it didn't even fit my bolt pattern, close but no cigar. I went to a yard and put a full size tire/ Audi wheel into the trunk and feel a lot better.
Get the regular tire fixed and get a real spare.

yeah, as far as i was aware of also, all newer a6's have a full size. donuts are mearly for the sake of getting you to the tire shop, so i wouldn't drive any more than say about 20 miles or so at the most. i'd do what wolfs above me said and just go pick up another wheel/tire from a junked a6 and that way you know you'll be alright no matter where you are if you blow a tire.

I wouldn't be surprised if the second hand dealer was also involved in swapping the spare. I was just chilling out with my friend who has a 4.2 V8 and he also has the fullsize, but he bought it as CPO from Audi.

The donuts are used in cars to save cost, space, and to reduce weight. None of them is the issue with Audis.

Definitely get the full size tyre. Last thing you want is your holiday trip spoiled because you have a tiny tyre to replace your flat one with andit's raining/snowing and you still have200 miles to go.

I have a 2000 2.8 with a donut. I thought it was because the 2.8 was the 'base' model, but my friend with a 2000 4.8 has a donut as well.

But I agree, a real spare is a must. I just bought a spare rim off another member, now I just need a tire....

hey i found 3 tires in the garage. There for 16 inch rims and there in pretty good condition

I have goodyear tires on my car right now but thoese were like maxwell tires or something that sounds like that.

Would they fit my 16 inch rims?
