Recently i got rs4 ko4's... I am getting the stage 3 minus chipq... A quick easy way to get 300-340 HP / 400-440HP....to the wheels with out doing anything to your tiptronic tranny! I should have the chip before the weekend and will let u know how it goes

what do you mean by stage 3 minus chip? who is doing the tunning?

ko4's are currently in the car, GIAC(awe-tuning the guys i picked!) or Vast performance.... Vast performance was going to charge 650 for the chip and stage 3 minus program... they had no chips... AWE offers the same chip and stage 3 minus for 799.99. All you need ontop of this is a fuel pump regulator i believe and your set! I got piggies done by my local dealer, APR exhuast, Bi-pipe, V-flow intake, forge diverters, GIAC tip chip... OHH and a AWE intercooler OTW! which is key when running high boost and def for high boost on bigger turbos ;0..... I should be getting the chip/intercooler before this weekend guys! At APR stage 2+ she is already ripping the streets! 340HP running 0-60 mphright around 5.0seconds give or take a tenth pending on launch angle.




NOTE:
SOME APR DEALERS WILL SAY THEY HAVE A STAGE 3 MINUS UPGRADE! THEY DO NOT! APR DEMANDS YOU DO UPGRADES THERE WAY! Yes they are a good company but this is one major flaw in there business.

OH! Sorry for my mistake.. I will be getting 300-340 HP to the wheels and 400-440 crank HP... Hoping to add A.W.E. Drive Train Stabilizer, H and R coilovers!! After this mod you are 3k away from a stage 3+! I have put in 20-21G including buying the car currently

 

Wow sounds great! I was going to go stage 3- or 3, but recently found that I will not be keeping the car next year when I move away. Anyway did you get the GIAC x chip esentially? I think that boosts around 20psi? I bet that mother halls now. Have fun but not too much

 

you do realize that the tip is only realistically rated for 450 hp max, I've heard of failures with a couple of tip owners beyond the 400 mark.

 

giac tip stinks you shoulda gotten vast stage 3 file ... im running that now ... its gonna take a bit more then what you mentioned to get to 440hp ... its not just a fuel pump but you seem to be on the right track

 

This is why you go Stage 3 minus my friend to avoid that problem... once you got stage 3+ you need a tranny part for the tiptronics which cost 1k... injectors cams ect for the finishing touches which comes around to 2-3 k (with labor)! Ohhhh and the fuel pump is the only thing you need to go stage 3 - with rs4 ko4's. I think i may switch to vast stage 3 file aswell i didn't notice to much of a change to be honest with giac. Vast just never has anything in stockkkkkkkkkkkk for ECUs/TCUs

 

yea vast sucks with stock issues ... ive actually heard giac tip chip ppl say that they got the vast tip chip and felt bad selling thier giac chip to someone because of how much it sucked ... vast is night and day difference ... i still have the stage 2 vast file laying at my house that i want to get rid of but im not sure if it hooks into the tcu the same way

 

I can take to prince and maybe i could end up using your stage 2 profile and even upgrade it! Please let me know!

 

i doubt prince would be cool with me selling you the tip chip hahaha I have a ton of them lying around from when they were trying to get my stage 3 perfected
