Hello, I just got a 1997 audi a6 quattro for real cheap (might have bad cylinder head/valves) and the check engine light is on.. but I am kind of confused as to where the dlc plug is located on these cars? do I need to take apart the covers underneath the steering wheel? any help appreciated..

and I did try the search option and couldnt find anything,

 

In the center console -- between the cup holder and shift
you need to remove the little plastic plate..
