Default Suspensions

Hi Guys,
I dont know if you call it the suspensions or shock absorbers but heres my problem.
I have a 2003 a6 2.7t ithas 30k miles on it. Lately my suspensions have feel very tight and when ever i go in to a ditch even if it small i can feel it(it gets pretty uncomfortable) and the car rattles. The tyre pressure is 35(on all four), can anyone please let me know what the problem is if i have to replace my shocks how much will it cost or is it something that can be adjusted.
Thank you guys in advance...this is my second post(i am a new bie) and this forum is a great place to exchange info!.

first make sure if thats the problem by putting the car on a lift and pushing upwards on the wheel to check for movement, take it to your local reputable foreign shop. if it is ball joints, they are not too expensive, I forget how much I paid, a few hundred

I have 110k on my OEM shocks and my indie tells me they are fine. I doubt your shocks are bad at 30k unless the car bobs up and down when you push on a corner.

I have a 1997 A6 quattro with bad front struts. I purchased canisters for it but the canisters are threaded on the top and the original struts are not threaded. What should I do?

i Actually had it serviced at a reputed audi dealer and he said everythings ok...but i still have the same problem..iam wondering if they even checked it ...when the road is smooth everything is fine and it gives a smooth ride but when it goes in to even a small ditch it does not jump up and down but it feels pretty uncomfirtable to me...and as i said the car rattles...does anyone have any ideas as to why it happens?
-Thanks

you should start a new thread and not hijack some else's, that's what you should do.

on a lighter note, sounds like either you ordered the wrong set or they gave you the wrong pair. there also may be several different types of struts used for that era of a6, so you might have to specify which ones you have in there.
