All moot points. The M5 pursuit is over and done with. Stage 2 it is!
In a perfect world, I'd have both in the garage. In my world, I'd need a couple extra K just to keep the M road-worthy in addition to driving it all winter.
And again, everyone seems to keep forgetting - I could only get the M if my car sold for AT LEAST 16,500, and if anyone's been checking their local market (or mine, at least), they'll find that it's saturated with A6's, and many of them with lower miles and a lower price tag than mine!!
In the meantime, I have a perfectly good example of german engineering in my driveway that I've already put alot of time and money into that will be quite a fun car, as I understand it, for the 2K I would've spent just to pay it off in the first place!!

Now, back to the origianl question of the thread:
Anyone else care to weigh in on which TBB's fit under the engine cover? Why have some people claimed that Samco does not fit under the cover, and other's say it does??
Thanks again,
Jeremy

I know I don't "need" the engine cover, I just like the clean, neat, polished look of the stock set-up, unlike the race-prepped Mustangs I've driven before

get the Samco. It works. It is cheap. Not much more to say. Many use it.

Here we go!
I ordered the 710N's and Samco TBB from Vast today. As soon as they come in, I'll put them on and take it down to get the APR flash done.
Now the hold-up will be the piggies and the TCU. They don't have any piggies for my car in stock, so I'd have to send them mine for modification. They guy who will be doing my work in town said he'd gut the pre-cats for me for $100 (plus the labor to remove and install). He's done it before to cars, and says that with the APR, there's a test-pipe program that's designed to prevent and codes that the gutted pre-cats might throw.
Anyone have any experience with this, before I start a new post on the subject?
Thanks~
Jeremy

yu can avoid the cell with the piggies by doing what VAST does:
Relocate the o2 bungs pass the precats be use he extra wiring of the oem o2 sensors to reach. Best way to do it. Looks clean enough. No need for software ugrade, stage 1 is enough. No cell or codes. Passes inspection.
