hey there I have a 1998 A6 Quatro that we replaced the front drivers door, we used the same wire harness that was on the stock door but used the "aftermarket" latch. Now the door will not open. It was opening and closing fine then went up the street 5 miles maybe, got out to get gas and was completely locked out of that door. It seems the outside handle is catching just not letting me open the door and same for the handle on the inside it works, you can hear the rod and when you push the lock down and pull the inside hadle it unlocks the door but the door still wont open....now I think im just over thinking it but the dealership wants $140 just to look at the car and I may own an Audi but damn im no bank so If anyone has anything I could possible try to get this door open Id be in your debt.
