Default timing belt 2.7t

Thanks to all in the forums, just finished my timing belt on the wife's 2.7t What a pain in the a__. went off without a hitch did not need the cam bar if you rock the cam gear back a little and loosen the tensioner pulley the belt slides right on. I could not have done this without all the help from the diy section especially. I really thought this was going to be harder than it was mark your cams with a scribe and the rest is a cakewalk. I have never seen such a huge pile of parts in my life this car has covers that cover the covers. keep up the good work and well see you the next time the mil light comes on......

took me about 12 hours definitely don't bypass the bleeding of the cooling system,i had to use compressed air and a rag over the expansion tank to get the fluid flowing through the system. the manual will also tell you there is a bleeder screw under the tank its not there. don't panic about removing the lock carrier and lower bumper they are very easy to remove had the complete carrier off in a little over a hour.

it is definitely a job but not any where near the 1800.00 the indy shop had quoted me. I never checked with the local stealer after i made several calls to the local shops. I think from what i have heard they really stick it to you on the parts as well as the labor. Take a little time and effort and do it your self blauparts sends you complete instructions with the kit.
