Default Timing Belt Help

So I decided to do my own timing belt, everything went well, all the parts of off, the bumper, accessory belt are all off without any problem. Now when I get to the timing belt part, I aligned my mark and the tick and tried to put the cam lock bar, the bar wont fit because the wing like bracket on the cam sprocket are not align, I have the larger holes facing inward. When i rotated to see what happen when the brackets line up, the markings are off. I also having problem trying to insert the pin to lock the crank, even when the marking are correct. Anyone has any idea what am I doing wrong here? Any help appreciated. Thank

The least you can do is tell us which year - motor etc before you begin asking questions. It probably makes a difference

I have a 2002 2.7T. Everything was fine until I get to the putting cam locking bar and crank locking pin. It won't fit and it does not align right

I would rotate the crank one more time to see if that lines things up

i rotated again already, still same result. How many time can you rotate them, does it do any damage if you rotate it too many times?

Sounds like it wasn't lined up correctly to begin with. Has the TB ever been done before? I'd bet someone tried to visually align the cams and was off a bit. Remove the cam gears, put them on loose, put the cam bar in place, install the TB, then tighten up the cam gears. Don't worry about your marks.
