Default Tires

Hey guys...I haven't been on in a while...been out playing with my new toy!!! Anyway...seems I picked up a screw the other day in my front tire...so I took it in...only to find that the inside rim of the tire is worn bald. I have gotten a couple of opinions on it from "tire experts" but I wanted to ask you guys...the "Audi A6" experts what your opinion was. I have the 18" rims and they are currently running Falken 255/35 tires...a guy I talked to today said that they recommended tire for my particular rims and my particular car (200 A6 4.2 Quattro) are the 255/40 series!!! Anybody have any feelings either way!?

Anyway...lemme know what you guys think!! Thanks!

PS: The dealership will be paying for the new tires due to the fact that I bought the car only 2 weeks ago and the tires are considered "unsafe" by law!

Default RE: Tires

Go HERE

type in your stock tire size (whatever it is) and the size you want to check and it'll show you what the difference is, even has a visual reference, abd tells you what the percentage of speedo error will be, if any
