my automatic audi a6 2000, 2.8L stopped going into gear and would not move at all. this happened all of a sudden, although for about five days leading up to it there was a little jumping when it switched gears. the check engine light was also on. i had it towed to the euro shop and they want to reprogram the control module. do you think this will work or will i need a new TCM in the end? i haven't been able to find much info online.
