Guys, been trying to find a definitive answer as to the location of the reverse light switch on an '02 A6 2.7TT 6speed.

Ours is sticking in the 'on' position and I need to know if I can lubricate it, or if it's an 'it's fxxxxd, replace it' part.

There seems to be a few references to the part on here, but not really anything definitive. help please!

Where is it exactly, how hard is it to change, and do I need to go in from underneath, on in through the centre console.?

I have not researched this, but as far as I know, when reverse is selected, the tranny multifunction switch and the modules do all the switching to light the reverse lights, there is no specific reverse light switch.
