tryin to figure out what size tires should go on my 18's
 

I got my split 6 spokes redone in a gunmetal finish and I took the old tires off and wrote down the size. unfortunately i lost the piece of paper with the size on it. can anyone help me find the correct size. obviously they cant be too tall. but i dont want them too low profile either. thanks for the help

the rims are for an 00 audi a6 2.7 t

Your car probably has a full size spare. Get the size from that.

On a 2000 A6 2.7T, the correct 18" tire size is 235/40R18.

It does have a full size spare but the cars stock rims are 16s. Do u know if a slightly taller tire will fit. I don't want it looking like its riding on just rims. But I know if the tire is to tall it will rub on the suspension

Google "tire calculator" and you can plug in the numbers to see the appropriate size to use.

I think you mean 245/40R18...and yes, they will be too tall and cause significant speedo error on a C5.

No I mean 240. wouldn't 245 be even taller

Or would that be 4 a motorcycle or something like that
