Turbo blow off/diverter help

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it would be a good idea to install 2 new blow off/ diverter valves (Dbov technology) from LL Tek. It is for the 2.7T The only thing is I would have to lose the nicce "Bitubo" Audi engine cover. But Im trying to work my way around that...

I thought about them also. They are very expensive. I know they are a hybrid type of DV. I also was told by several folks that other then the "Whoosh" of air released into the atmosphere, they have no additional benefit then aftermarket DV like Stratmosphere or Forge.

I went with the Stratmosphere HX. They work extremely well!

Just my $.02!

I was looking into those ones myself. If you get em, let me know how well they work for ya. Also, if you get around removing the engine cover please let me know how you did it. It takes away from the engines sexiness by removing the cover so i dont want to if i dont have to.

I was thinking of cutting away where they would stick out and then smoothing it out real well. so they just stuck through it.

milltek make a nice valve that looks like it fits under the cover no problems. They have a step by step instructions on their website for the 2.7T at www.millteksports.com.

Does the Stratmosphere HX sound nice. I dont want my car sounding like it came out of fast in the furious...

The Stratmosphere HX is not a Blow Off Valve, its is a beefier DV over the Bosch factory installed. The Stratmosphere DV has a billet aluminum piston to where the factory Bosch has a rubber piston. If you car is chipped, the factory DV pistons are known to tear!

One thing I can tell you for sure is that my turbo lag has been greatly reduced thanks to them and having them in combo with my GIAC X chip and my K&N Air Filter, you can really hear my turbos whistle "spool up". People turn their heads when I cruise by.
