turbo replacement
They told me the same thing that the source was getting low on the rs4 ko4s. I got mine through a dealer and had to call a couple different locations. I would look into a GT turbo if your looking into not waiting. This could add a little more power but take up a little bit more room under the hood. I can ask my audi guy how much room he had for a little bigger turbo. I would be pumped if your getting the rs6 turbos... def let me know what you go with... and how is everything else going
There is a guy in town that has a supercharged jeep
haha it isn't quick but it is sick. I have a nice 3.5 inch skyjacker lift, with super aggressive 31 in tires
Little bumpy but you can run over a lot of things hahaha trust me

Hey to you guys who say the audi a6 CAN'T get 500+ might be right or maybe wrong.... I talked to my audi tech with more detail about the situation of horsepower/mods on the a6 vs s4. He told me the only difference with the two cars is the top half of the tranny of the s4 engine and 1-2 small things it doesn't have vs the a6..... I just wanted to put that out there but still think it might be possible for 500+hp / 400-450WHP. Once I get my a6 fully done I am going to dyno it and show yall the resaults / pink slips ect. OHHHHHHHH if any of you get intercoolers make sure you have a T-clamp over a regular one. This is why my intercooler keeps coming off becuase the type of clampisbeat to **** orcan't hold the air flow.
04Sline, How you doing bro
I noticed you are only in NJ... If i ever head in that direction we should check out each others cars
DEFFFFFFFFFFFF if you get rs6's / all the fueling I would love to see my car before it was done
. Let me know how everything is going with the parts, and def stick with the stock airbox/hole in the bottom/KN filter over a intake. I am prob going to just sell my V-flow intake for cheap... car runs smoother on the stock intake (even with current DIRTY intake).

If you have any plans to come down to the Jersey shore, let me know. You're in NH?
hope my car is done by then. The turbo issue is killing me. If I could get my hands onsome s4 turbo cores, I could reman them myself. RS6's should be available "mid to late July". I don't know if I can wait that long. The coolant sensor problems are really starting to **** me off nowhard start due to flooding. Thanks for the airbox tip. I haven't seen any aftermarket cold air intake that fits the a6.

I live in Virginia :P, sometimes I come up north to visit friends. They have aftermarket cold air intakes but they don't work that great or don't work at all with your a6 stage3. You have to go back too the stock airbox for stage3+... i know LOL? right haha
Tiptronic you can go the cheaper route with getting a torque converter which you would pay1k for parts and around 1k for instal..... Or you could get the top of your tranny taken out by a dealer... you then ship your tranny to lvl10 which rebuilds trannys for high performance. Give your specs and details of your car.. they will be able to set the gears perfectly to give you max HP/torque.The obvious shortcuts which are more common in stage 3+'s consist of a clutch for manuals and torqueconverter for tipronics(which would be included in the tranny rebuilding if you went that option). I am looking to do this in about 6-8 months
... when I do this I will do the rest of the fueling/cams ect. Should make some bang for its buc... or I may switch the tranny to 6 speed :-X which isn't as hard as everybody says. My audi guy just told me the hard part is getting all of the parts.. LOL
I am sure I will make a post when I get my tranny done tiptronic or switching it to manual.

When you build your tranny up it is important not to overlook the valvebody as well as the torque converter. You could actually be looking at a total bill, including labor of about $3000-4000. Level10 has most of their products available as DIY. VAST also has upgraded torque converter and valvle body
