I need to change belt on a6 v6, it got 88k now and dunno if been done as it had 82 when i brought it 2 years ago, any way I bit the bullet and contacted audi for prices on parts, total cost i was quoted for parts is £171, that includes cam belt, all tensioners and pullys, water pump, thermostat and audi coolant. i was expecting to cough up closer to £400, so very impressed as it genuine parts, I'll amuse myself now ant pop to local garage who are ex-audi mechanics and see how much they will charge in labour (ouch) my guess it be around £500 to £600 minimum ($1k to $1.2k) god this country is one big rip-off
