did timing belt 2 months ago , new coils , spark plugs less than a year ago
ran good till 2 days a go
now starts idle high almost 2k rpm then it setles about 800 rpm very rough stay on too few seconds then it dies.

CEL is on this what i got from it

16485 p0101 mass air flow -g70 rang e-preformance(short circuit to another valve)
17535 p1129 bank 2 mixture adaptation (mult) system too rich
17535 p1127 bank 1 " " " "
16685 .........16690 all cylinders misfire detected
17544 p1136 bank 1 mixture adaptation (add) systrem too lean
17546 p1138 " 2 " " " " " rich
17840 p1432 secondary air injection system switching valve (a) circuit open

found vacum line broken and replaced also check timing belt cover to check on belt
looks very tight just as i left it , also replaced the new coils with original ones which i had replaced 2 months ago. im thinking of getting the ICM any looking for any other sudgestion what i need to check /replaced thanks

Not sure what engine you have but I would start by checking the wiring harness from the MAF. Sounds like you have a broken wire, melted wire or either the MAF or the switching valve is bad. I wouldn't doubt you melted some wires on the manifold. Those are the 2 codes that pop out the others seem to be due to the problem not causing it.

jackmup had not had any CEL TILL now i have a a6 3.0 fwd would you know where the MAF sensor is located and switching valve i will check on the wiring and replace the MAF SENSOR THANKS

3.0 ! I should have known. The maf sensor is in the tube just after the air filter box. You will notice it has a terminal with four wires sticking out of it. DO not physically touch it.You can buy a can of cleaner at the auto store to spray it. Follow the wires they go down behind bank 1 and over along the firewall. If your cats heat up bad it will melt the wire loom covering the wires. The secondary air valve is right there too under the back cover with the rings on a platform above the throotle body, See the ill. You will need to test them if one went bad it could be causing the short in the other. But chase the wires first.

i found the sensor !
i going to follow the wiring going to work right now !
i will be getting back to it thanks again you probably saved me a bundle
i was even thinking of taking the timing belt apart again did not want to go there !

will post what i find

Did you do the belt yourself?
Did you replace all the vacume lines.

sorry guys ive been busy last 3 days doing a home remodel for a customer did not get back till 2 hrs ago. hey Kingofnyc22 yes i did my timing belt my self and now i have replaced vacum lines now. car was running great till last week .
