I want to ask,
will a 2005 Audi A6 4.2L OEM wheels fit on my 1998 A6 2.8L car?
With no problem? offset? rubbing? corning? anything?

The wheels comes with 245/40/18 tires and it's bolt patterns are 5/112 and offset is 48mm.

My current stock wheels are 235/45/17

Please help asap!
Since the deal might be gone soon!
Thanks alot guys!

RE: URGENT! Help on wheels
The v8 and v6 cars use a different offset on the wheels. Probably to eliminate wheel rubs. Youve proably never noticed this before but the v8 a6's are a little wider in front than the v6 models. They have bigger fender flares too. This isnt to say that the wheels wont fit. You might want to make a little cardboard template with the sizes for the 4.2 wheels. That will tell you for sure wheter they will fit or not.
