I'm looking to buy a 99' A6 Quattro Sedan w/135k. They are asking $5,800 OBO. The milage does make me a little nervous. Any advice on where to go with my decision would be great. Thank you.

 

Read, read, read. There's a TON of info here and at www.audiworld.com that can give you the background information necessary to make a good purchase decision (follow the link in my sig to my registry page for some good reading -- Stoney's Links is particularly helpful).

Next, search for your target car/config/price NATIONWIDE on cars.com and autotrader.com. This will give you a feel for what the car you're looking for should be priced at. There is NO substitute for taking the time to do your research.

For your target price, I'd consider looking for an A4 with lower mileage. Good luck!
