Default Vag Com Status

I recently got a vag com and having done a few scans I am curious how many of you are using unregistered versions with ebay cables. It pulls the codes and thats fine and dandy but I would like to know if anyone has simply registered their vag com and gotten full utility.

Also I have 4.07 version or something with a 4 (im too lazy to check) but I have 7558 fault codes installed on there. I had v3.something before and I remember having like 13000 codes installed. Comments?

I've got a full blown ross tech vag-com with the dongle license. I like it alot, i still dont know how to do everything on it and mostly just use it for scanning the whole car but im sure 1 of these days I'll dabble more into the in-depth stuff

I use the freeBE Ross-tech software and an Ebay cable. It gives me everything I need.

Do you just google the codes? If thats all I need to do then I don't see why my lazyness should cost me any more lmfao

I down loaded a code list from somplace, sometimes I use my Bentley manual, and have used the Bentley site. It all depends upon how I feel that day.
