Looking for some help here. My 2009 Avant was in a wreck (other idiot's fault- he ran a red and I was able to slow down enough that I t-boned him, instead of taking a driver's side hit at 60 mph). The body shop has checked, frame is undamaged, just LOTS of expensive plastic. repair is at about $10,000 total. I plan to repair it and drive it forever. The insurance wants to call it a loss at $5489- the LOW end of Kelly Blue Book. I wanted to get some ideas I can take to them about a fair value. Here are the essentials:

ATF fluid was changed at 100,000 miles for long-term durability. Regular maintenance with expert Audi techs.

I consider ity a collector's car as Audi no longer imports them, and 400 HP luxury station wagons with awesome AWD handling are rare (Mercedes AMG at $100 K is the closest)
