Nope, I do not believe so. The VW VR6 is a narrow angle V6 (15 degrees I believe). It is not a regular V6 with two seperate banks of cylinders, it's more like a straight 6.The big difference isint the exhaust manifold, where the VR6 is one unit, as all the exhaust ports come out of the head on the one side. Onthe 2.8 the exhaust ports will come out on either side of the "V" (one on each back of the V),so you would probably need something like this that is used on the S4 2.7T: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2000-...mZ150259726315
I don't think the 2.7 manifolds will fit the 2.8, but I may be wrong. Another option is supercharging the 2.8. There are some kits out there, but they are quite expensive. You might be better off just getting an S4. I think PEShas a kit: http://www.pes-tuning.com More tuners on here http://www.VAGLinks.com

ORIGINAL: joetm i have manifolds for my 2.7 02 and i am tryin to get rid of them ... brand new!!
I see you have the OBX manifolds... Did you find a difference after installing them? Did you do it while the motor was out for something else? I was looking at those on eBay, but I don;t want to pull the motor just for that, so I would hold off until I need turbos again...

ehh not really a noticiable difference but if you are going to get the k04s they are a nice piece to have
all polished stainless they are pretty sweet
pea pullin gthe motor is a B*tch but i had some time on my hands plus I wanted to get a look at all of the rubber components as a lot of them were starting to crack and break off and I had massive leaks
