So not too long ago, my bulb burnded out on me in my a6 ac control, so i replaced it, i hooked everything like it was , so now i only get the red bakground light, this is not a major problem in my car, everything is fine now, got it fixed its just weird with this control, i m guessing that the grey cable that is hooked up to the screen panel is messed up, so anyone that knows electronics whats wrong, and when ever i press any button on ac control, it wont do anything, so help me out here, it shouldnt be hard to fix this, thats wat i think

 

yeah sounds like thats ur problem and no it shouldnt be hard to fix

 

chances are you have a shorted ground wire so when you press a button it shorts the system and overloads it, check the wiring
