On the center pillar between the drivers door opening and back door there are 2 buttons. One for the trunk and the other with a sound symbol inside a car symbol, what is it? And, where can I view an owners manual online?

My car (03 A6 2.7T) only has one button on the B-pillar (between the front & rear doors) on the driver's side, but I'm actually missing the button itself, so I couldn't tell you what the image on it is. I'm pretty sure that my button switches the interior sensors on/off for the alarm if you hit it before you close the door and arm the alarm; it definitely doesn't open the trunk. This could make sense with the picture you are describing.
